Dakota Balsor (she/her)
Run Director
St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador
Dakota Balsor (she/her) is currently a nursing student at Memorial University in St. John’s, NL. She previously graduated from Mount Allison University with a Bachelor of Science. When she’s not reading for school, she’s reading for fun.
Dakota’s mother is an endometriosis patient. Growing up she witnessed how difficult it can be to navigate the healthcare system and the symptoms of endometriosis. When she graduates from her nursing program, her goal is to work in gynecology. Along with caring for patients, she wishes to become a nurse advocate for those suffering from endometriosis.
Dakota began volunteering as a run director for The Endo Network’s Run To End Endo™ in 2024, and she is excited to help bring the event to St. John’s, NL.
Dakota is grateful to live, work and gather on the ancestral homelands of the Beothuk, on the island of Ktaqmkuk.
